Meet the Team behind Hapres

Meredith & Christy met in Squamish, BC as two (average) moms navigating the choppy waters of work, kids and life. Along with a few other (average) moms, Friday afternoon gatherings became a non-negotiable in the calendar. Some of us called it happy hour, some of us called it après, eventually Haprès became our Friday thing.
Our friendship and the Haprès brand has since evolved over an appreciation of Friday night charcuterie boards along with a love of locally sourced ingredients, markets, passion projects and the call of a simpler life.

HOBBIES

I moved to the Sea to Sky Corridor to live close to my passions for skiing, mountain biking and hiking. My love of the mountains is equal to that of the ocean where I have always spent my summers (and any other time I can) on Denman Island. 
 

FAVOURITE JELLY

Oh, that’s a hard one.  The original Denman Island lavender infusion has led to so many tasty flavours during our testing phase.  If I had to choose just one, I would say the rosemary infusion is my favourite. It’s so good with sweet, salty, spicy and savoury pairings.

HOBBIES

I love being in the great outdoors with my friends and family, hiking, camping, skiing and running.  I am happiest in the forest, in the mountains and by the water.  Indoors, I love being crafty, creative, cooking and entertaining… oh how I miss entertaining!

 

FAVOURITE JELLY

I love them all for different reasons, but if I have to choose a favourite, it is the Denman Lavender infused Wine Jelly. It reminds me of soaking up the last of the summer sun and watching the sunset beachside on Denman Island, BC.
